Jim Maes, Musician

Jim is a gifted organist, pianist, choir director, and vocalist. He has been a college teacher for three decades, and offers private instruction as well. He takes full advantage of our Steinway piano, and you won't believe his footwork on the organ. We are blessed to have Jim ministering among us! Rev. Jan comes to us with three decades of ministry experience. Jan is an exciting preacher who relates faith to daily life in compelling and transformative ways. She feels an urgency to include those who've been left out, chosen last, and relegated to the margins, especially those who may have no (named) experience of the holy.
Rev. Jan earned a B.A. at Dickinson College, a Master of Divinity at Wesley Theological Seminary, and a certificate in Adult and Continuing Education at the University of Victoria. Jan teaches the Adult Ed Discipleship class on Sundays at 9:15 am, and leads the Women's Spirituality Group on fourth Fridays at 6:30.
